All Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth grade students
will be required to have the following for the 2007-2008 school year:
- Small plastic "shoebox" sized container to store pencils, glue sticks, markers, etc.
These can be purchased at Big Lots, Target, or Wal-mart for less than $2.00
- 2 Glue Sticks
- 1 pack washable markers
- 3 packages of #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils please)
- 2 rolls of clear scotch tape
- 1 pack of colored pencils
- 1 pair of scissors
- 3 ballpoint pens (blue or black only) NO GELL PENS!
- 1 red ballpoint pen for editing/grading
- 1 ruler
- 1 plastic compass (no sharp metal points)
- 1 protractor
- 1 large eraser
- 1 paperback dictionary (thesaurus recommended, but not required)
- 1 package of pencil top erasers
- 6 two-pocket folders in different colors
- 1 small basic calculator
- 6 college-ruled notebooks (8.5 in. by 11 in) with perforated pages for easy and clean page removal
- 1 three-ring binder with pockets
(1 ½ inch spine recommended, but not required)
- 1 black composition book
- 1 package of loose leaf, three-hole, college-ruled, white lined paper
- 3 highlighters, different colors
- 1 small bottle white Elmer's glue
- 4 boxes of tissues *
- 4 rolls of paper towels *
- 2 packages of Clorox multipurpose antibacterial wipes *
- 1 bottle of liquid hand soap *
- 1 package Dry Erase Markers *
* We welcome additional donations on items marked with an asterisk anytime throughout the school year.
Students are required to purchase agenda books
from the homeroom teacher during the first week of school. These books are
made especially for Paramount Academy students and provide an easy way for
students to record homework assignments, important dates, and teacher
comments, etc. The students and their parents are responsible for keeping
agenda books in good condition and up to
date.
